As a Philly wedding photographer, I’ve explored endless garden locations for engagement sessions. And let’s be honest, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect area to search! From the cherry blossoms to amazing architecture, Philly has it all! So, when Kieu and Eric told me they wanted to explore a garden, I knew exactly where to take them for the session of their dreams. We had to plan a Longwood Gardens engagement session!
As soon as I saw photos online of Longwood Gardens, I knew as a Philly wedding photographer that I had to bring a gorgeous couple and my camera here ASAP for an engagement session! This dreamy spot, especially in the Spring, was the perfect for Kieu and Eric’s love story!
The white dogwood trees and tulips gave the whole session a romantic vibe, and being 80 degrees added a sprinkle of cozy love. I mean I’m sure Kieu and Eric could take incredible photos in high school gym, but a setting like this one sure didn’t hurt!
I also loved the way they dressed to complement the location. I always advise my couples to look up images of their session location beforehand to ensure perfect color choices, and I provide a “What to Wear” guide to help you. So, these two definitely chose wisely! Kieu’s beautiful blush dress added the perfect softness to pair with the romantic backdrop, and Eric’s light grey suit completed the look!
Finding the perfect spot to take couples’ photos isn’t always easy, but you’d better believe I’ll be planning another Longwood engagement session very soon!
Congratulations, Kieu and Eric on your engagement, I can’t wait for your Philly wedding next year at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve!
