I recently had the absolute joy of photographing a NY wedding and I can honestly say it was one of those stay-with-you forever moments that I’m still not one hundred percent over. In fact, I’m not sure I ever want to be. Alexandra and Richie’s Larchmont Yacht Club Wedding was pure magic. This venue in New Rochelle, NY, is a favorite for its elegance and charm. As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, I love capturing celebrations outside the city at such lovely locations.

A Fashion Forward Affair

Built in 1884, the historic Larchmont Yacht Club offers everything you need for a picture-perfect wedding. The stunning waterfront Clubhouse with its grand spaces and scenic views of the Long Island Sound create an unforgettable setting. Inside, the natural light billows through the leaded glass windows. Outside, the waterfront walkway is ideal for portraits. It’s an editorial wedding photographer’s dream.

Alexandra enraptured every on-looker with her sumptuous mix of dreamy romance and timeless elegance. She wore Lazaro Perez’s Kiki gown that was both dramatic and timeless, with just a sprinkle of diva glam. Paired with her vintage pearl necklace, Jimmy Choos and cathedral veil she exuded the epitome of classic sophistication. Richie also brought his A-game. Stepping out in his sharp black tux, velvet smoking slippers,  and Cartier cufflinks, perfectly complementing Alexandra. Together, they looked like a couple straight out of Vogue magazine.

Aside from the Greek traditions, the deeply heartfelt moments and the sheer serendipity, this was a wedding celebration close to my heart as the couple will forever be one of my faves. Illuminated in the chic simplicity of candles and paper lanterns. It was the most perfectly intimate setting for Kalamatiano dancing, emotional speeches, and endless love and laughter with friends and family. An amazing Larchmont Yacht Club wedding celebration that was joyful and ethereal creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime. Every moment of this wedding was special. From the ceremony to the reception, love and laughter were everywhere. As a Philly editorial wedding photographer, it was an honor to be part of their day.
