As a luxury editorial wedding photographer, it’s an honor to capture each couple’s unique wedding vision. Katrina and Julian chose the grand Aldie Mansion, a historic English-country estate. Commissioned by William and Martha Mercer, Aldie is surrounded by picturesque gardens with splashing fountains, soaring trees, and winding pathways.
Built in 1927, the mansion evokes a bygone era of craftsmanship being an art form. Sculpted by William Mercer himself, the mansion’s architectural details include ornate gargoyles, intricate brickwork, antique tiles, and charming garden ornaments. The winding, hand-carved staircase, ornately decorated doors, and the immense glass windows in the Great Hall exude a time gone by.
For their regal reception, the couple opted for a simple, classic décor to showcase the natural beauty of the venue. Ethereal floral installations and elegant tablescapes softened the grandiosity of the manor’s interiors, exuding the timeless elegance.
