As a Philadelphia engagement photographer, I’ve explored endless chic and romantic locations for photo sessions. And let’s be honest, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect area to search! From the historical buildings to the city vibes, Philly has it all! So, when Blakely and Adam chose Rodin Museum, I was fully vested, as it is one of my favorite places when it comes to romantic settings and dramatic backdrops.

A hidden oasis in the city, the Rodin Museum is an ideal spot in Philadelphia and was the perfect backdrop for Blakely and Adam’s love story! The stunning courtyard that includes a magical reflecting pool, beautifully manicured gardens, and spectacular beaux-arts style building gave the whole session a romantic French inspired vibe. And the beautiful cloudy, early Spring day added amazing soft light. While I’m sure Blakely and Adam could take incredible photos in a high school gym, a setting like this one sure didn’t hurt!

Finding the perfect spot to take couples’ photos isn’t always easy. However, this remarkable venue will make you feel like you’ve been transported to Paris. Which is truly fitting since Adam proposed to Blakely in Cannes, France last summer. The architecture and the surrounding garden provides breathtaking photos that people won’t even believe are in Philadelphia. Congratulations, Blakely and Adam on your engagement, and I can’t wait for your Loch Aerie wedding next month!
